Yes, your first session is just $5! One offer per student. There's no commitment beyond that first lesson, and no automatic recurring charges.
Class sizes are small, but as long as there's space available, you can start any time!
Your first class is just five dollars, and you're not locked into anything beyond that!
After your trial class, enrollment is per session, so if you start in the third week of an 8-week session, you'll pay upfront for the remaining classes in that session, at $20 per class. Once you enroll in a session, your spot is guaranteed for the rest of that session. We don't allow booking single classes beyond the first trial class, since class material will build on previous weeks, and sporadic attendance makes it harder for children to learn the songs and games.
Once a session ends, you won't be automatically enrolled or charged for the following 8-week session, so you'll need to specifically sign up and pay for each 8-week session separately. We recommend reserving your spot in future sessions early, since class sizes are small!
Music In Me is open for children ages 1 through 5. All children are different, though, so if you're just outside this age range and think your kiddo would be a good fit, text us at 512-817-3663 and let's chat!
Our classes are 60 minutes long: 45 minutes of guided activities as a group, then 15 minutes of optional free time, where kids can get a little more hands-on playtime with their favorite toys from the class, request additional help from the teacher, etc. We know 45 minutes can be a long time for some little ones, so parents who choose to leave after the first 45 minutes won't miss any new material for that week.
Music in Me is held in our main school location at 660 S. Bagdad Rd, Building 4, Suite 410, just across the street from Robin Bledsoe Park. (Just look for #410. We're a cute little brown and grey office condo with a wreath on the door.)
As the program grows, we may find/add larger spaces to use within the same general Leander area.
In these first sessions, our class limit is five, since our rooms aren't large, and we expect parents and caregivers to take part as well! Once we have larger spaces, our class sizes will grow.
Group sessions cannot be made up, so if you need to miss a class, just be sure to keep practicing your activities at home, and we will see you the following week! If possible, please send notice via text to 512-817-3663 so we know to expect a smaller group that day. Thank you!
Sometimes life happens... a teacher gets sick, the power goes out, a Monday morning hailstorm, etc. First we'll try to find an alternate teacher or place for the class, and if we can't, we'll reschedule for a new day/time. Students who cannot make the new day/time will have the option of a $20 credit applied toward their next session or private lessons.
Please be sure that we have multiple contact phone numbers if needed to ensure we can reach you regarding last-minute schedule changes!
We do not automatically close for school and bank holidays! Our school is open 48 weeks per year. The four weeks we're closed are:

Any Music In Me sessions that include one of those weeks has already been extended by an extra week to account for the missing class day.
Our system doesn't automatically deduct family discounts at time of purchase, but for families with multiple students enrolled at the school, we'll add a credit to your account good for 10% of your total Music in Me costs, which can be applied toward future Music in Me sessions, or toward private lessons.
