Tracy Michele

Voice teacher and student smile at music recitalTracy is an accomplished songwriter, vocalist, and pianist whose influences range from pop icons such as Celine Dion to alternative favorites Alanis Morissette and the Foo Fighters. She’s lived and performed around the country in Dallas, Boston, and Los Angeles before settling into Austin, TX.  After earning her degree at the Musicians Institute in Hollywood, CA in 2009, Tracy began teaching with the Septien Group in Dallas, where she fine-tuned her pop vocal teaching style. Most recently before joining Sense & Color, Tracy worked with ensembles at School of Rock in Los Angeles, and she also spent a lot of time in recording studios working on her original songs. She now has her own studio setup and loves to record her student’s musical projects.

Tracy loves working with all ages, and can teach early beginners and advanced students alike. She thinks of music as more than notes on a page and recognizes the therapeutic power of lessons. Every student is different, and therefore lessons vary greatly. Tracy is a great choice for shy students, expressive creative types, and students with special needs.

Tracy teaches piano, voice, and songwriting, and can also teach beginner guitar upon request.  Check out her music on Spotify for a taste of her songwriting chops!
