Robby Harris has been playing the guitar since he was old enough to lift one, and by his early twenties, he’d already graduated from ACC with a degree in music and made a name for himself in the Austin musician community as a sought-after studio player and band member for bands and singer-songwriters alike.
His primary instrument is guitar, but he’s well-versed in music theory, and he’s also a great choice for beginner piano students. Robby’s passion for music keeps students engaged and having fun while learning, and his patient demeanor, frequent smile, and careful attention to detail make him an ideal teacher for students of all ages. Robby is also adept at explaining practice techniques to both parents and students, making it easy for parents to stay involved in musical progress from home.
Robby has worked in all aspects of music, including live performance in guitar, vocals, and keys, as well as recording, producing, mixing/mastering, and sound engineering. His excitement for music theory and technique is infectious, and he looks forward to building musical connections with his students to help them discover the joys of music the same way he did!
