

Zach Kursman is a drummer, artist, and music producer originally from Temecula, California. Kursman has shared the stage with renowned drummers such as Ignacio Berroa and Nir Z. In 2018, amongst students from the University of Southern California, Indiana University, and UT-Austin, he was chosen as one of the featured students in Vic Firth’s educational video series called “Inside the Teaching Studio” to present and teach a lesson on Max Roach themes & variations. Kursman graduated from UT Austin in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in Jazz Studies and received the Stribling Award of Jazz Excellence. Throughout the years, Zach has collaborated and worked with artists such as Clunis, KindKeith, Next of Kin, Susannah Joffe, Tony22, Sage X Price, and Sir Woman. Kursman released his debut EP, “Gratitude Boi,” in May 2021, and his debut LP, “old armor,” in January 2024 on all streaming platforms. He is set to release his next EP in 2026!
