Gillian is a classically trained pianist from Canada who has been playing for 16 years and teaching for around 6. Through her own varied experience of training and performing, as well as playing in more casual settings, Gillian has developed a passion for helping students discover the joy of music specific to their own interests and goals.

Gillian is well-versed in theory and music history, and has a special love for improvisation and arranging songs, and she enjoys inspiring students to explore their own creativity. Whether playing Beethoven, popular songs, or playing in worship groups, Gillian enjoys a wide range of musical genres and is eager to share this love with students of all ages.
